What is EFT?
EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is commonly referred to as ‘Tapping’. It is a non-invasive, easy to use and very effective modality based on ancient Chinese acupressure combined with modern psychology.
Our bodies are made up of intricate systems which are connected by pathways known as Meridians. During our lives, at some time or another, many of us will experience blockages in our meridian systems.
Whether these are emotional or physical blocks, by tapping on certain meridian points on your body and focussing on negative emotions or physical sensations experienced, you are able to release these blocks, bringing calm to otherwise stressful and intense situations.
The nervous system settles as you rewire the brain by releasing the negative and affirming the positive to restore emotional health and overall well-being.
Benefits of EFT
EFT is of great benefit to people of all ages, both children and adults alike. EFT can be used to manage a wide range of issues including anxiety, stress, pain, phobias, addictions, weight management and limiting beliefs and blocks.
Likening EFT to acupuncture without the needles, the benefits aid in the restoration of balance and flow allowing you to make positive changes to your mental, emotional and physical health.
Whilst there are many benefits of working with a practitioner, it is easy to carry through and use yourself in your every day life which is a valuable self-healing tool to have in any stressful moment allowing you to maintain full control and restore calm.
We recommend speaking to your medical practitioners prior to practicing or participating in any complimentary therapy. EFT is not a replacement of your conventional medical treatment but can work very effectively to compliment your journey to wellness.
